Average Penis Length Size

Debates on the average penis length size have existed ever since the African tribes used hanging weights to increase their penis size. The problem is that nowadays a lot of men with a normal penis size complain about it and develop all kind of frustrations in what is called the “small penis syndrome”.

What is the average penis size?

Specialists carry out studies every year to up-date this information. The most recent ones show that the average male penis length is somewhere between 5 and 7 inches (12.7 – 17.8cm) and that the penis girth length is appreciatively 5 inches. Most problems appear because men don’t really know how to measure their penis. They should measure it only when erect, from the abdomen to the tip of its head.

When talking about micro-penis, doctors usually refer to a penis whose size is less than 2.75 inches and that condition is treatable either by surgery or extender devices and exercises. For those who want to increase penis length, there are some efficient methods, but they require patience and respecting a daily routine. The studies show that only 0.6% of the men suffer from having a micro-penis and, probably, the rest of 44.4% of men unsatisfied with their size suffer from the “small penis syndrome”.

How to treat the small penis syndrome?

The small penis syndrome is rather a psychological condition and the best way to treat it is to discuss with a sexologist or an expert in this domain. People who feel ashamed of their sizes have little or no sexual experience and that can only deepen their frustrations. They believe that women won’t feel satisfied during the intercourse and ignore the studies results that show that in women’s mind the penis girth length doesn’t always make the difference.

Actually, those who think the most at male penis length are men. They’re the ones sharing their experiences to the group, creating length stereotypes and isolating their less “gifted” fellows.

However, apart from counseling and specialized advice, people who think they need to increase penis length have some technical solutions: exercises (jelqing and Kegel exercises), extending devices, pills and even surgery. The risks are higher for the last three, because some of them might cause irreversible damages and should be chosen only if the doctor recommends them. However, some of the extenders have been proved to have measurable effects after a regular use of 3-6 months. As for the Kegel exercises, they work out the pelvic muscles, increase the stamina and prevent from urinary incontinence.

Men should stop wondering weather their penis is big enough or not and start having a normal sexual life, based on permanent communication with their partner and a continuously search of stimulating techniques that might improve their sexual life more than some extra 0.5-1.5 inches to the average penis length size.
